I don't know how much it really costs to go to college but I do know students waste their time and energy when they do not put forth their best effort or choose easy classes that do not challenge them to do their best. The real problem is that students rationalize that they will put forth their best effort in their major and what they think is their best effort falls short. As a result, some colleges become little more than high schools whose diplomas are equally meaningless.
